Chris Russell
Chris Russell grew up near the Vans Skatepark in Orange County where he learned his bowl skills skating the famous Combi Pool. He was a regular in the Southern California youth amateur contests. Darren Navarette put Chris on Creature officially after seeing him skate locally for years, fulfilling a life long dream for Russell. Chris turned pro while on Thrasher's famed King of the Road. Chris almost lost an eye in a freak accident at a skate event involving some fireworks, luckily he can still see, although not 100%. Chris has lived more under the age of 30 than most; earning respect from his peers. More recently Chris is still stacking footage, training jui jitsu, rock climbing, and focusing on his mental and physical health.
