Independent Trucks was started in 1978 through NHS by Richard Novak, Jay Shiurman, Fausto Vitello, and Eric Swenson. The Independent Stage 1 truck was created in the late '70s and since then they've worked their way to the Stage 11 truck, which is a staple in skateboarding today. Always innovating, Independent or 'Indy' offers standard, forged titanium, mid, and hollow skateboard trucks, as well as signature pro trucks from riders like Milton Martinez, Lizzie Armanto, Tiago Lemos, and many more.
