In 1966, Brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren started a small shoe company in Anaheim, California, called Vans. Fast forward to present day where that once small company is now one of the most established and influential shoe brands of all time. Vans shoes have not just become a staple in skateboarding but popular culture in general. Famous Vans silhouettes like the Era, Authentic, Old Skool, Slip-On, and Sk8-Hi established the legacy of the brand, while pro shoes like Steve Caballero's Half Cab, and Anthony Van Engelen's AVE Pro shoes continue the Off The Wall legacy of the brand.
